Why a Lava Stone Aromatherapy Necklace?
Your typical essential oil diffuser necklace absorbs essential oils using felt pads. While they are pretty effective, a felt pad can only hold a scent for up to a few hours.
Meanwhile, lava stones are hard, porous rocks that oils can soak into. And lava stones won’t just hold a scent for a few hours. With a mere two drops, they can maintain a relatively potent aroma for several days.
Furthermore, natural oils will not corrupt lava stones; therefore, you can use them over and over with different oils of your choosing.

Application is super simple:
- Unclasp the necklace locket and remove the stone
- Add a couple drops of your chosen essential oil to the stone
- Circulate the stone in your hand until it turns glossy
- Place the stone back in the necklace locket and close the clasp
As noted, for most oil types and brands, you could inhale from the lava stone days after an application and still experience benefits. Still, a single application takes only a drop or two. So applying once per day, to consistently get the most powerful scent, is still very economical.
