Blender Salsa Recipe

Natural Hippie LivingHere are the ingredients:

  • ½ red onion
  • ½ sweet onion
  • One jalapeno
  • Two serrano peppers
  • Three cloves minced garlic
  • One tomato
  • Three large red tomatoes (quartered)
  • Two Roma tomatoes (halved)
  • One bunch of cilantro
  • Five tomatillos
  • One green bell pepper (quartered)
  • A touch of garlic salt
  • Two drops of cilantro essential oil
  • Two drops of lime essential oil

Instructions for this recipe:

1. Combine all of these ingredients in a blender. Mix them all until you have a smooth solution. Keep the lid on the blender for five minutes after blending.

2. Once that’s finished, pour out the mixture and serve it with your favorite tortilla chips.

Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup

Here are the ingredients:

  • ½ sweet onion
  • One orange bell pepper
  • One pound mild Italian sausage
  • One bag diced or sliced carrots
  • 15 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 32-49 oz can or box low sodium chicken broth
  • Touch of oregano
  • One small yellow squash
  • One small zucchini
  • One drop rosemary oil
  • Toothpick’s worth of basil oil
  • Toothpick’s worth of oregano oil
  • Garlic salt
  • One 20 oz package tortellini
  • Parsley (note: this is optional)

Instructions for this recipe:

1. In a big pan, combine onion, sausage, carrots, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook medium heat until sausage is browned and and begins to crumble. After this, drain the liquid.

2. Add in and stir diced tomatoes, chicken broth, along with a dash of oregano. Bring the ingredients to a boil, ease the heat, and let simmer with the pan covered. Add zucchini, yellow squash, and then the specified essential oils.

3. Add garlic salt to add a little flavor. If desired, you can add chopped parsley for an added garnish. Prior to serving, add just enough tortellini for each individual serving. This prevents tortellini from absorbing too much broth and ultimately getting soggy.

Winter Quinoa Salad Recipe

Here are the ingredients:

  • Two cups water
  • One cup quinoa
  • Touch of salt
  • Three tablespoons of agave or honey
  • Two drops of Protective Blend
  • Fruit of your choice
  • 1½ cups of peeled & diced grapefruit
  • 1½ cups of peeled & diced oranges
  • 1½ cups of chopped apples

Instructions for this recipe:

1. Prepare the quinoa by rinsing it under cool water and then combining it with water and salt to a pan. Boil the ingredients over medium heat. for five minutes. Turn heat to low and simmer for somewhere around 15 minutes, or until all of the water is absorbed. Take it off the heat and fluff the food with a fork.

2. To make the dressing, mix the agave or honey with the drops of specified essential oils and pour over the quinoa.

3. Add fruit to the quinoa mixture. Stir well to mix the ingredients together. We recommend serving chilled or if you’d like, feel free to serve at room temperature.
